Boiled Shibori is a technique which requires a fabric material (preferably satin) and a high quantity of buttons. It also requires a lot of patience! šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

Do you think you have the determination to create a Shibori sample of your own? I'm here to guide you! šŸ¤—

ALL YOU WILL NEED:

  1. Fabric

  2. Fabric Scissors

  3. Buttons

  4. Water

  5. Pan

  6. Sewing Thread 🄳

Want to know how to do Shibori in under 3 minutes??😱 I have made a short tutorial for all my lovely people!! 🄰 Captions are also available to make it accessible to everyone 🤠

1) Firstly, choose your preferred coloured fabric and cut outāœ‚ļø a large square of material. Use any colour thread🧵 to tie the buttons to the fabric, as seen below.šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

2) Repeat this step numerous times with same sized buttons (or different sized buttons to create a playful design šŸ˜†), enough to fill the entire square material.

3) It is now required to steam your sample in a pan for 30 minutesā± to allow circle shapes to be formed on the fabric. Leave to dry for 24 hoursā± and then remove the thread and buttons.

TADAAA!🤩 Your sample is now ready!!🄳🄳
